Tuey Connell & The Steve Klink Trio (USA/D)

Tuey Connell is one the most promising jazz vocalists of this generation. The singer and guitarist from Chicago has an almost classical jazz voice, with which he can elegantly swing and scat.

Connell is an excellent interpreter Connell of the jazz and blues standards he chose for the cd, however he writes the majority of his repertoire.

For more than 2 years he has worked with the Trio of the American pianist Steve Klink who lives in Cologne. The Souljazz Trio of Steve Klink performed an impressive concern in May 2003 in the transmission hall of radio Bremen.
